What this dice roller does
NdM notation describes N dice with M sides, followed by an optional positive or negative modifier. Cryptographic browser randomness selects each face uniformly, making the utility suitable for casual games and simulations.

Private processing and offline access
This tool does not submit your input to a conversion server. Processing takes place inside the browser using local JavaScript and standard Web APIs. After the PWA has been installed or cached, the page and its core features remain available without an internet connection. Closing or clearing the page removes unsaved input; the tool does not create an account or cloud history.
Tips for accurate results
- Include the dice count: use 1d20 rather than d20.
- The tool is intended for casual play, not regulated gambling.
- Large batches can produce long result reports.

Does this tool upload my data?
No. Dice Roller processes its input in the current browser and does not submit it to a conversion API.
What input does the Dice Roller accept?
Expressions such as 1d20, 3d6+2 and 2d100-10 are accepted. Up to 100 dice and 100 repeated rolls are supported.
Can I use this tool offline?
Yes. Once the Offline Tools PWA has cached the page, the core feature works without an internet connection.
